Hartmarx workers rally against big bank greed

union members rally against ABAWhen the American Bankers Association showed up in Chicago this week they were greeted by 5,000 angry taxpayers rallying to demand accountability from bailed out banks. Hartmarx workers had recently saved their company from liquidation by bailout recipient Wells Fargo. They are a testament to the fact that without public pressure and action banks will take taxpayer money and run out on workers without reinvesting in American jobs as they were supposed to.
